This photo to the left, is
of a custom deck in a Georgian Porch
style, it features a sunken hot tub with privacy
screens on one end. A gas bar-b-cue and dining area
on the other. The structure is treated pine with trex
composite decking. The roof system is post & beams
supporting trusses. The posts & beams are all wrapped
to give size, style and proportion to the project. The
ceiling featured tongue & groove pine with recessed
can lighting and low voltage lighting is set on the
columns and under the steps for subdued night
lighting, great effects and safety
on the steps. |

The
photo to the right, is a Clear heart Redwood deck
with treated posts & Joists. the decking & balustrade
system and is
also built with clear heart redwood.
It also features two sets
of stairs as well as being built to allow a
tree to grow up through the deck. This
allowed for shade and fantastic design
effect, adding beauty and grace to this
project.

The deck to the right is a standard 12 x 12 upper level deck made of
treated pine and features a straight stairway to
ground level. A lattice enclosure underneath
sets it off nicely, allowing the owner a
place for storage or privacy which ever is
needed, while giving the deck a neat
finished appearance. |

The photo on the
left, shows This two story addition, deck of 400
sq ft. on the top floor, containing a custom
handcrafted cherry, wet bar and seating. it also
features tiled floor and a vaulted exposed
rafter ceiling of tongue & groove pine. There is
a hot tub deck off to one side with specially
tempered glass replacing the conventional deck
railing, allowing a breath taking view of the
city from the comfort of the hot tub. At the
other end of the deck, is a traditional deck
leading from the kitchen to the covered portion
of the deck. It contains the barbeque area. This
portion of the deck features a cedar beam
trellis which helps cut the sun on the exposed
parts of the deck we handled this project from
beginning to end including the wonderful rock
exterior which truly sets this deck addition in
a class of it's own. |
